NaNo 2015!

NaNo My Month

I am 11 days into NaNo and as you can see from the graphic I am hitting my word count daily! My goal is 2000 words a day and that is exactly what I have been doing. 😀 I should hit 50K by the 24th, then I’ll continue until the novel is finished.

I am really enjoying this story and am super proud of myself for handling offline things and stuff with family along with online commitments alongside NaNo this year. 😀

  1. My goal is 2k a day as well, I am hoping to hit my word count before family comes for the holiday. Keep up the great work!

    • Thanks Lily! I am really enjoying my story this year and yes, am trying to work NaNo around my family, lol. How are you managing? Do you have a schedule you keep to? I always do my NaNo words first (once I get on my laptop), nothing comes before it.

      • I am lucky to be a stay at home mom to a toddler right now(ask me how lucky though some days, lol) and I get my writing done when she takes her nap. I was used to being on a time crunch having just finished college with two kids and a job, that I am able to get those words out if I give myself a deadline. As soon as I hit my daily 2k, my mind starts wandering though!

      • You are very lucky! I’ve not got kids (yet) but I raised my siblings and used to write in between housekeeping, changing nappies, doing college work and cooking! I used to read textbooks on the bus rides to and from college/uni! I find setting a deadline works as well. I know I can do it in about 2 hours so I make sure I start before 10pm. 2K is my limit too, I start needing to do other things. Sometimes I takes breaks by doing posts at my play by post forum RPG, haha.
